Well I am home after a very long morning. I arrived at the John Knox Pavilion at 5:45 am for the John McCain - Sarah Palin "Road to Victory" rally. When I arrived I was 30th in line from the door. By the time the doors opened there where 3,500 people behind me, 1,000 of which would not make it inside the auditorium. I meet 3 sweet republican ladies who have been friends for 30 years and they decided like many of us to come and be apart of history. The ladies and I were three rows from the stage right in front of the podium. At a little past 11 am with 2,500 people chanting "Sarah", Governor Sarah Palin and Senator John McCain took to the platform.

I cried during Governor Palin's speech. What an amazing women of God! After their speeches I was fortunate enough to shake Senator McCain, Governor Palin and Mr. Todd Palin's hands. When I shook Governor Palin's hand I said "God Bless You , Governor Palin" and she paused for a second and then said "Thank You".

Here are some photos from the rally.

It's awesome that you got to go to the McCain & Palin rally. I'm hoping they'll come to WV, OH or someplace close to us. :)
