It was such a beautiful day here in Overland Park. It was so nice, that we ate dinner outside on our back patio. Their was a rabbit and a cardinal that ate dinner with us to. :-)
By the way dinner was awesome. Adrienne out does herself with each meal that she makes. As a matter of fact you should come by for dinner sometime...(just everybody don't come at once!) LOL
Our street has been very busy the last couple of days with construction across the street. The city of Overland Park is building a Community center within a few feet of our front yard. If you click on this link http://www.opkansas.org/_Assets/parks/cc_master_plan/cc_images.pdf you can check out the community center floor plans and illustrations. It will be open sometime in 2007 complete with a gymnasium, running track, and natatorium. I have also included a couple of photos I took yesterday after they cleared the land of all of the trees.
Our weekend promises to be busy as usual. Friday night our friends the Greenes (www.thegreenesgospel.com) are in concert in Independence, MO. Saturday night some friends are coming over for a BBQ and then Sunday our home church (Lenexa Baptist Church) celebrates it's 15th Anniversary. Sunday night in honor of our Pastor our special guest will be comedian Dennis Swanberg (www.dennisswanberg.com) . Adrienne and I are picking Dennis up at the airport. Adrienne told me yesterday that she was sure that I would have plenty to talk to him about. (What is that suppose to mean??)

Hey Mike, I bet you are so excited to pick up Dennis from the airport. Brad and I might try to come to that. He isn't sure what time he gets off work yet. So if you don't see us that's why! I love clicking on your blog every day to see what you have on your mind. It's nice to see you keep your updated! The four of us need to hang out as soon as I get healthy again!!!
