Long Time...No Post!

Well I know that it has been awhile since our last post. We have been going non-stop for the last few weeks. Tonight is the first time that I have had "extra" time to sit down and write a little. We have had a busy day. We went this morning to see our friends Katie and Jason run a marathon in Olathe! It made me feel a little lazy after seeing all these incredible athletes train so long for something and then actually finishing your goal. When we came home from the marathon we worked in the yard the rest of the day.

Mothers Day weekend found Adrienne and I apart. I always hate being away from my Miss America! But she had a ladies weekend in Bella Vista, AR with her momma and her aunts and cousins and had a great time. I have posted so pictures that she took from the weekend. Since Adrienne was away I went and visited my mom back in my hometown, Brookfield, MO and had a great time playing football with my brothers and cousin. Don't laugh!! I know that's a humorous thought that I would be playing football!! Unfortunately for you there are no photos to prove that I was out there running up and down the field but ask my muscles in my side and legs...they will tell you that I was!!

Tomorrow morning we are going to go and be with our good friends Hopes Call from Nashville, TN. They are singing in Kansas City. It's always good to see them. Sunday night we are going with our friends Brad and Holly Kemp and I think Adrienne's dad to see Gold City in Lenexa, KS. Two great concerts in one day! I am in southern gospel heaven this weekend!
