Monday (Memorial Day) Adrienne and I drove down to Pittsburg, KS to Pittsburg State University where there is one of the most incredible veterans memorials that I have ever seen. We attended a service there honoring the men and women who have served our country so that we can experience FREEDOM. Adrienne's Grandpa Boore has a memorial stone there on the
Walk of Honor. The service was very emotional for everyone in attendance. A bag piper played the theme songs to each military branch and veterans in attendance were encouraged to stand as their song was played. As we stood there and watched as these men and women both young and old stood to their feet Adrienne and I were moved to tears at the realization that these American's risked their own lives for us! It will be a day and a service that I will never forget. Praise the Lord for service men and women and for what they do on a daily basis for all Americans!
