Meeting Dr. Jerry Goff

For the past several years I have been fortunate enough to travel and emcee southern gospel concerts throughout the country. I have had the honor to work with many of the Gaither Homecoming artists include groups like the Talley Trio, Booth Brothers, the Lesters, Dove Brothers Quartet, the Greenes, Kingsmen and the Florida Boys just to name a few. But none of this could have been possible had it not been for Dr. Jerry Goff who has spent decades paving the way for young emcee's to follow. In my opinion Dr. Goff wrote the book on keeping a concert audiences attention and making each group's introduction the very best.

In gospel music he is a legend in a league all his own...

Recently I had the honor to spend some time with Dr. Goff. Here is a photo from our meeting. He is a true gentleman and I admire him even more after getting to meet him.
