A few weeks ago Adrienne and I enjoyed an afternoon lunch on Sunday afternoon from some dear friends of ours, Lonnie & Roxanne Koons. Lonnie is the Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in DeSoto, Iowa. They were passing through Kansas City coming back from a vacation in Arkansas and we were able to meet up with them at our favorite restaurant KC Masterpiece.
Pastor Koons and the congregation have me speak at their church every year and we are looking forward to being back with them this coming January. This is a special church who have always shown Adrienne and I love and support.
